General Games Night

Last week at DAGGER, we brought as many games as we could fit into a duffel bag for General Games Night! Fluxx, Arkham Horror, 7 Wonders, Super Smash Bros., Cthulu 500, and Magic: The Gathering were among those played. Be sure to stop by next week for another round of General Games Night- play what we have, or feel free to bring your own favorites.

Smash Bros. Wrapup

Thanks to everyone who came out for our opening night of DAGGER! We had 3 different Super Smash Bros. tournaments going on; Bill won the N64 tournament, while Dennis was the champion of Melee and Brawl. Next week, we'll be in the same room (Soc Sci 105) at the same time (8:00), so come drop by!

Greetings, DAGGERites!

Welcome back to Duke! For our first event of the Fall semester, DAGGER will be hosting a Super Smash. Bros tournament. The tournament will be this Thursday, September 1 at 8:00 in Soc Sci 105. Bring friends and join us for a night of competitive and not-so-competitive fighting. Next week, DAGGER will return to its usual schedule of 8:00 each Thursday in Soc Sci 105. Favorite Games Night

For the final meeting of this semester, we pulled out some of our favorite games for one last hurrah! Traitors were hunted in Shadows over Camelot, cities were built in 7 Wonders and Citadels, and we tried (and failed) to prevent world destruction in Pandemic. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, and we hope to see both old and new faces next year!

ELECTIONS TONIGHT

Tonight at 8:30PM, DAGGER will elect new officers. This means I will be handing on the blog to a new advertising chair and the other new officers. It also means that you have the chance to run for a position as a DAGGER officer, as well as vote for who you want to lead DAGGER next year! Join us in Soc Sci 105 to cast your vote and then help us break out the games!

Summary of this semester

Unfortunately, I let the DAGGER blog slip this semester. To fill in the gap, Puzzlehunt was a ton of fun, and we'd like to thank everyone who participated in any way. Congratulations to Paul, Lawrence, Jane, and Cullen for being the winning team! After Puzzlehunt, we held a couple more meetings to wrap up the semester.

This spring, we've continued playing card games, board games, Nerf Wars...and we hope you've enjoyed it!
